Welcome the Climate Emergency Kit – the blog that helps you with the tools needed to save this planet
This blog brings the consequences of continuous economic growth and greenhouse gas emissions together with the engineering that can reduce those emissions or their effects.
Our collective need for continuous economic growth is causing changes to our environment which will have massive impacts on humanity and the ecosystems that we share this planet with.
The planet is warming – at an alarming rate – so much so that we will experience rapid change from this point onwards. But it is not too late to avoid catastrophe. As well as warming, there are many other effects we are having on this planet.
As the caretakers of this planet, only us humans will determine whether life as we know it will continue. There is still time to save humanity and the world that we know – but we must make choices and implement them quickly.
Climate Emergency Kit will identify both effects, and pathways forward. It will also include updates that summarise the consequences of allowing our planet to warm by 2°C or more and measures to decelerate that warming.
Thank you for reading this blog and for the actions you take to save this planet.
